Anna Kolesnik

Anna has been living in Saint Petersburg, Russia until 2008 where she studied Sociology in Saint Petersburg State University. She moved then in Rome where she completed her studies at University La Sapienza. Then she further specialized with a Master Degree in Management of Employment Services and Policies in Link Campus University in Rome.

While studying at the University she developed an interest in Tibetan Buddhism, natural healing practices from different parts of the world and yoga. She attended teachings on Tibetan Buddhism, meditation and yoga at the Istituto Samanthabadra in Rome and Istituto Lama Tsong Khapa in Pomaia. She later specialized in Integral yoga getting to the level of teacher and at the same time, she explored the paths of energetic healing becoming a second level Reiki healer. Then she approached Tibetan medicine as a result of her son and her health problems. Having experienced the healing power of Tibetan medicine she decided to devote herself to this discipline and therefore to deepen her knowledge by enrolling in 2017 in IATTM - International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine (today Sorig Khang International) where she met her present teacher Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. Therefore she started to follow the teachings of Yuthok Nyingthig tradition. In 2018 she attended internship with IATTM with sessions devoted to medical practices and herbal training in Tibet, Cina. In the same year, she was authorized as a Nejang yoga teacher and organizer of Sorig Khang Ostia (Rome). In her free time, she loves painting.
