Jacqueline Yu is a Sowa Rigpa practitioner and yoga teacher. She leads groups on yoga & spiritual retreats around Asia. She is the co-founder of Basic Essence holistic wellness centre in Singapore since 1999 and is the founding member/president of Sorig Khang Singapore, founded in 2008 to preserve and promote the ancient healing arts of traditional Tibetan medicine. In 2000, she met her root dharma teacher, Ngakpa H.E. Ralo Rinpoche, a highly realized master and his son, H.E. Khyungtrul Rinpoche, an emanation of Gyalwa Choyang, one of Guru Padmasambhava’s twenty-five original disciples, beginning her path in Vajrayana. H.E. Ralo Rinpoche, a highly realized master, was one of the closest students of Chatral Rinpoche who had spent twelve years in the Asura cave doing Vajrakilaya, Dorje Phurba. And after meeting and learning from Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, her root teacher in Tibetan medicine and Yuthok Nyingthig tradition, the spiritual practice of Tibetan medicine, Jacqueline is now SKÝ’s International teacher with specialization in Ku Nye, traditional Tibetan massage & other TTM external therapies. A practitioner of Yuthok Nyingthig, Jacqueline is also a guide for Medicine Buddha Healing, Mantra Healing, Nejang and Yuthok Nyingthig retreats. And as a member of SKÝ head office team, Jacqueline is Head of Activities/Sorig Aid, organizing free medical camps in Nepal and around the world, putting her compassion into action.
