Nelly Thorin was born in 1963 in Haute-Savoie (France). She initially worked several years as youth worker for children, then for handicapped young people and adults. For more than 25 years, she has been in charge of on service training for employees of a higher education establishment, more particularly in the fields of management, quality of working life, foreign languages and interculturality. In parallel with these activities, she always had her heart set on taking care of people.

Since 2001, she attended to Doctor Nida Chenagtsang teachings, first of all with Ku Nye course (finished in 2016), then from 2012, those of Traditional Medicine Tibetan and Spiritual Yuthok Nyinthig path.

She is also plantar, palmar, facial and cranial reflexologist since June 2015, trained and graduated of Elisabeth Breton school at Versailles (France).

On a proposal from Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, she is finishing a thesis on - Reflexology and Traditional Tibetan Medicine.

Sowa Rigpa practitioner, teacher in external therapies, Tibetan healing Nejang Yoga and guide in Yuthok Nyingthig tradition, she is co-founder and organizer of an association born in 2018 - Sowa Rigpa friends / Sorig Khang Toulouse, whose wishes are to spread Dr Nida Chenagstang medical and spiritual teachings for the benefit of all the sentient beings.
